Product Description

Complete ammonite Dactylioceras nodule. These ‘two part’ fossils capture the ammonite and its negative within a mudstone matrix. Ammonites from this region also contain iron pyrite – or fool’s gold- giving a slight natural glimmer to the interior of the nodule.

The real charm of these fossils is that they look like an unassuming grey pebble when the two parts are put together.
