Ammonite necklace
A 110 million year old ammonite fossil set into a necklace.
The once hollow chambers of the ammonite shell are filled with natural deposits of calcite, agate and other minerals. Cretaceous period.
Found in from Majunga, Madagascar .
Includes silver plate chain. Ammonite setting is a non-reactive metal.
Chain length: 58cm. Ammonite: 3.5cm x 3cm.
