Exceptional specimens of individual iron pyrite cubes.
Also known as ‘fool’s gold’, these mind blowing, naturally cubic pyrite crystals have formed in a calcite limestone matrix. Who said there were no straight lines in nature?!
From La Rioja, Navajún, Spain.
Pyrite dimensions: 1cm x 1cmx 1cm. Matrix 3cm x 3cm
Measurements are approximate and the minimum size you should expect your item to be. Some specimens will have more than one piece of pyrite in the matrix.
