Often the first thing that springs to mind when people think of fossils, our bone collection includes some impressive North Sea finds.
Many of the bones we have in stock date to the late Quaternary and as such are sub-fossils that are only partially fossilised. This is either because they are too young -at a mere 10,000 years old- to have fully fossilised, or because they have been preserved by different natural means.
