Trilobite Phacops
Even though the bodies of these trilobites are rather simple, the large glabella ('nose' area) and fantastically preserved compound eye lenses make these one of our most popular trilobites.
From the Hamar L’Aghdad formation, Issoumour, Morocco.
Devonian, circa 390 million years old.
In its original matrix, minimum size of the trilobite is 6cm x 3cm.
