Amber pendant
A very simple amber pendant on a silver-plate chain.
Amber is the fossilised resin from prehistoric forests, in this case the prehistoric pine forests of Lithuania. In rare conditions, the resin picks up and preserves whatever was unluckily enough to be in its sticky path.
Some of this amber necklace contains the remains of leaf matter. It doesn't contain insects, which are a rarer occurrence in amber than Jurassic Park would have you think.
Although sizes vary a little, the average size of the amber is around: length 5cm, width 2cm. Chain 58cm.
If you have a preference for a bigger or smaller pendent, just let us know as the sizes vary a little, while the price remains the same.
