Very large Mosasaur teeth, including the exceptionally preserved root and bone.
Mosasaurs were carnivorous and resembled a large crocodile with paddle-like limbs.The largest of the Mosasaurs, Hainosaurus, could reach up to 17 meters (56 feet) in length.
Still in its original matrix, this piece comes from phosphate deposits near to Khouribga, Morocco. Dating from the upper Cretaceous, circa 80 million years old.
